Let’s plunge straight in with RAIDERS OF THE LOST SHARK. Yes, you heard me correctly – RAIDERS OF THE LOST SHARK. SHARKNADO has a lot to answer for... ‘Four friends set out by boat for an idyllic vacation on a private, remote island. But unknown to them, a weaponized shark has escaped from a top secret military lab nearby, a shark that was genetically engineered with hate in its blood, and programmed to hunt any human within range. Now, trapped on the island and forced into the water to break free, these friends must band together to battle an all new brand of predator who will stop at nothing to remain at the top of the food chain.’
What with Chucky and Annabelle, scary dolls are all the rage right now. Hoping to join their hallowed ranks is writer/director Daniel Ray’s HEIDI, which opened in limited cinemas yesterday. When Ryan is hired to do a housesitting job for a neighbor, their curiosity to explore an abandoned attic takes a terrifying turn after discovering a mysterious doll: Heidi. Suddenly tormented by a string of unexplained events, Ryan believes the doll is more than just haunted – it is alive, and he intends to capture everything on camera to prove it. But the worst has yet to come as Heidi’s deadly idea of playtime is just getting started…’

On the eve of Halloween, as night comes, everything explodes…’
We don’t know much about director Bobbin Ramsey’s DEAD BODY, other than that it’s an indie movie set in a cabin in the woods, and it features at least one DEAD BODY. Let’s take a look.
That’s it for this week, I’m afraid. Here’s hoping for a bumper few weeks leading up to Halloween. Until next time, horror hounds!
