It’s been a good week for horror gaming (unless you’re one of the many who pre-ordered the Dying Light physical copy), what with new announcements, release date reveals and re-mastered classics all vying for your attention. Fear not, though, fellow horror fans, as you don’t have to slave away searching for these tasty blood-soaked snippets – just look below for all that is good in the way of digital scares. Monstrum gets an early access trailer, Lucius continues Satan’s work on Friday the 13th, The Hum hits us with a prequel (replete with aliens abducting babies), State Of Decay looks better than ever, iOS gets a much needed dose of Silent Hill-inspired horror, and the prototype for Agony asks us to escape Hell. Monstrum Early Access Gameplay Trailer

Frequently cited as one of the horror games to look out for in 2015, Monstrum takes the traditional survival horror formula and remixes it completely with its procedurally generated levels, permadeath and AI driven predators ensuring that nowhere on its derelict cargo ship is every truly safe.

With its focus on replayability Monstrum offers up a challenge to even the hardiest gamers, forcing them to use their wits and whatever tools they have at hand to outrun or outsmart their pursuers as they attempt to escape an environment that is out to kill them while evading the lurking terror that lies around any corner.

Lucius II

Shiver Games are proud to announce that Lucius II : The Prophecy will be released Friday 13th February 2015 on Steam for PC/Windows.

Lucius will cost $19.99 on Steam store for Windows, while other platforms and distributors will be announced gradually over the upcoming months.
